Direction has to agree
A drop is inbound and a preload is outbound. A contradictory appointment never reaches the board.
Freight stays attached once
An order already booked elsewhere is blocked with a link to the appointment that owns it.
Live work cannot disappear
Once a trailer is checked in, its last order cannot be detached until the yard move is resolved.
At the desk
Most appointments arrive already drafted.
Conductor reads the carrier's email, finds the order in your WMS and prepares the slot. A CSR approves it and the appointment lands on the same board the dock is already using.
